We have become slightly obsessed with vetiver’s majesty - and with making it the heart of a modern, everyday, unisex fragrance. Which is what it honestly deserves. We laced the opening with a flicker of orange and bergamot, then added a note of leafy petitgrain before letting it develop a clean, deep riff on vetiver. The elegance and refined clarity of this vetiver comes from the use of vetiveryl acetate with its hints of earth, grass, smoke and that petrichor smell of rain hitting dry ground. The woody underpinning is sandalwood and patchouli. All in, it’s grounded, calm, magnetic and endlessly wearable.
